Also called bobis, boby or croissants, the pods are immature bean, Phaseolus vulgaris, family Papilionaceae. In the variety boby, these beans are bright green, elongated and thin. The seed is white. They grow on dwarf plants or vines, some just wear the pods (beans), other seeds (beans). Low in calories, they are rich in Vitamin A and C.

Pods are annual herbaceous plants typical of the Mediterranean. They are a variety of peas to which it consumes all , both the seeds that the pod. The "taccole" beans are not to be confused with "tegolini", which are part of the bean family. Similar to the pods of peas, snow peas have large shape and very flat, light green and a length of about 10 cm. Their flavor is sweet and delicate.
