PATAIÒ POTATOES

Product Features:

Potato cultivation in Sardinia has established itself in the Lower Campidano where he found the availability of a microclimate and soil particularly suitable. The soil is sandy-loam texture, with neutral pH slightly alkaline, with a significant amount of exchangeable Calcium and this determines an exceptional quality of the potato in terms of presentation, the effect of a shiny skin and a pale yellow color, which taste.

In this environment we have established three varieties middle early: the Monalisa, the Cherie, the Gwenne. The Monalisa in particular, for the excellent organoleptic characteristics, with a typical flavor of potato very evident, was preferred by local consumers. The plant also lends itself to be grown in this environment because it has a good rusticity to the microclimate that can also be extreme in some periods of strong wind and sudden temperature elevations in the summer.
